I am a freelance TD, currently living in Prague – Czech Republic.

I have been using Maya and Renderman for over 8 years and have a strong computer engineering background, having worked as a systems architect previously for large companies such as DHL and Compaq/HP.

I studied Software Engineering at Sheffield University in England, I have been lucky enough to have worked in several countries outside of the UK including India, Italy, Germany, Holland, Israel and Czech Republic

2007:
I became a Pixar’s RenderMan® Certified Tutor and have provided training for Escape Studios in London and independent clients worldwide.

At the end of 2007 I completed production on the feature film The Seven Of Daran - Battle For Pareo Rock, where I was in a Research and development role - developing the rendering pipeline for the hero CG character, as well as developing the shading networks.

2008:
I worked on a full length CG feature The Wild Bunch as Senior RenderingTD, for an animation studio in Israel. there I worked on new technology provided in RenderMan, including in-depth customisations of RenderMan Studio.

2009:
I was rendering TD on a Dutch feature film: Storm, where I designed and implemented the rendering pipeline and worked heavily on integration of other tools such as RealFlow and it's Render Tool Kit to create believable fluid dynamics for floods and oceans.

This summer I also co-authored the training material for Escape's RenderMan Courseware to include support for RenderMan Studio 2.

I am also very keen on traditional photography, examples of which can be seen in my gallery.
